NOT ALL SUPERHEROES WEAR CAPES
We were honored to have a deputy from the Wright County Sheriff's Office at our race as our invited guest. Many of you were able to visit with him and thank him for his service, and he had some fun handouts for the kiddos!
Also, the Howard Lake Fire Department wasn't able to be at the race due to prior obligations with it being 9/11, but they were kind enough to give us some fun "goodie" bags for the kids!
Seeing many of you in costume filled made us super happy - so thank you to all who participated!

You braved the weather with us (albeit with great food & free popcorn - and s'mores on the bonfire) and hung out with happy hearts - making every single soggy second soooo worth it. We were happy to have nice, safe ground (the light rain & drizzle did a beautiful job of watering the ground for us)...and lots of fun and friendship to keep us warm and smiling.

Michael Aguirre (who many of you know), had been scheduled for over 3 months to shoot this race. He canceled the day before, so we were unable to find someone else. We were extremely disappointed to say the least. To those of you who had asked and were planning on there being a photographer at the race, we apologize.

Look in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it’s Superman!
Have you heard that popular phrase before? Superheroes are incredibly popular in today’s society. With new comics, movies and TV shows coming out each week, the world has become captured by these amazing tales. They have incredible powers that defeat evil in miraculous ways.
However, these are just fun fictional characters that can’t really save us. Christians, thought, understand that they do have a real-life superhero. They have someone that is always looking out for them and keeping them safe. They know they have a superhero with Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the most powerful being in this universe, and nothing can stop Him. He is the world’s ultimate superhero, because there are no weaknesses or limitations that make Him imperfect. Jesus has everything we need in a superhero and more, and here are 20 reasons why.*

We serve a God who is BIGGER than any circumstance or problem you may be facing AND we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our Testimony. You can do ALL THINGS through Christ who give you strength! If you don't know Jesus, talk to us!
